Guacamole Two Ways

When I was pregnant I craved guacamole non-stop.  I wanted it every single day. Considering the amount of guacamole I ate then you'd think I would be over it by now but lo and behold 10 years later and I still love it! I like both of these versions equally. The classic is great for when I am trying to whip it up in a hurry, or making it for littles. The spicy one is my go to for a gathering or when I am craving the heat. Both are delicious served with veggies and some chips, while also pairing well with wraps, tacos, burritos etc. The hardest part about these recipes is finding a ripe avocado, if you know you know!

Ingredients:
Spicy Guacamole:
1 1/2 Avocados
2 tbsp diced cherry tomatoes
2 tbsp red onion diced
1 large clove of garlic minced
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 medium jalapeño diced (if you don't like it super spicy then deseed the pepper before dicing it - I prefer to keep the seeds in)

Classic Guacamole:
1 1/2 Avodacdos
2 tbsp diced cherry tomatoes
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions:
Spicy Guacamole:
 1. Peel and remove the pit from your avocado and place in  a medium bowl. Using a fork mash the avocado until it no longer has any chunks.
2. Add in the cherry tomatoes, red onion, garlic, lemon juice, sea salt and jalapeño. Mix until combined.
3. Serve, eat and enjoy!
